ABOUT ME
I grew up in Manchester and, having spent a good chunk of my life in Edinburgh, I am now living once again in Manchester with my partner and my very old cat, Arnie. I have always been interested in exploring psychology and embodiment and I really enjoy my work as a therapist.
I love to read, spend time in nature, and every so often I like to go wild swimming or bouldering. Meditation is a big passion of mine; I've been meditating for around 9 years and love spending time learning about the nature of the mind, what our perception is made up of, and how our belief systems impact our experience of reality. I am particularly interested in how this intersects with social justice issues and themes around identity.
My 4-year training in the Gestalt modality was transformational for me, both in terms of my own therapeutic development and in the skills it taught me in how to really be with others while they embark upon this work that can be scary and challenging at times.

My background in meditation has helped me to embody what I've learned on my training and to be truly present with my clients. I am committed to bringing inclusion, awareness and respect for difference into my work with clients.
